Love Where You Grab a Cocktail!

If you find yourself wondering where you should grab a drink in Ashland, you’ve come to the right spot! From mimosas at brunch to top-shelf bourbon in a speakeasy, here is a list of our go-to spots to grab a drink on a night out!

Sal’s Italian Eatery and Speakeasy
Looking to be entertained? This is the spot for you! Sal’s Italian Eatery and Speakeasy not only has an impressive bourbon and craft cocktail selection, but weekly entertainment that is sure to put a smile on your face while creating fun memories. Their weekly line up kicks off on Thursday’s with a live performance from Roscoe and Tilly Mae Riverton. The fun continues on Friday and Saturday with live music from household names such as Lee Dean’s Swingin with Sinatra and Elvis, the 1937 Flood, or live jazz from Veezy Coffman during dinner service, but the fun doesn’t stop there. Every Thursday - Saturday, Sal’s transforms into a rockin piano bar from 9pm - 12am. Lastly, we can’t forget their monthly murder mystery party! If you want to plan an unforgettable night out with friends and loved ones, we highly recommend getting your tickets in advance.

The Mill AKY
Ashland’s premiere scratch kitchen, The Mill is our go-to spot for brunch and mimosas! We highly recommend brunch followed by a stroll through the shops in the District. Even better, if your brunch happens to be during a public event, think AKY Makers Market or Poage Landing Days, you can take your mimosa to-go and sip while you stroll through the event. Fat Patty’s
If you’re looking for a more relaxed, sports bar atmosphere - Fat Pattys is your spot! The american-pub style restaurant features a large bar, plenty of TV’s, and a great beer selection for a casual drink. The establishment was recently purchased by local investors and we are excited for the additions they plan to bring to this downtown staple. Be sure to follow their page for exciting announcements!

Tomcat Bourbon and Brew House
Located in up and coming South Ashland, Tomcats offers an extensive list (53 to be exact) of bourbon, craft cocktails, and craft beer. Home to the largest outdoor dining patio in they city, we highly recommend planning your visit around nice weather to enjoy their outdoor scene while taking in the sound of live music performances that happen weekly on their outdoor stage. If you do find yourself inside, not to feature - enjoy and round of pool, or be the star of the show during karaoke.

The Winchester & Guitar Bar
Located inside the Delta Hotel, The Winchester is home to the famous bourbon slush and a very impressive bourbon list! Order the one of a kind drink bourbon slush three ways. The Judge (one shot), The Jury (two shots), or The Executioner (three shots!)

We highly recommend pairing your bourbon slush with a round of their famous crab rangoons, with an entree from their fresh surf-n-turf menu! If you choose to dine in the Guitar Bar, you may find yourself enjoying a live acoustic set from one of our extremely talented local artists.

Bombshells and Ales
Want to release your inner Viking? Then get on over to Bombshells and Ales! Enjoy an ice-cold beer from a viking horn mug while playing a round of axe-throwing! If that’s feeling a little too adventurous for your taste, keep things equally exciting with a little less thrill and play a round of Singo (bingo with karaoke) with a beer or margarita tower for the table!

Sandy’s Racing and Gaming
Last, but certainly not least, indulge in craft cocktails, fresh burgers made with local beef, and amazing flatbread pizzas at Sandy’s Racing and Gaming. This state of the art casino features over 600 slot machines, a BETMGM Sportsbook, two full service bars and two stages featuring weekly entertainment. Live music happens every Friday and Saturday. Sandy’s is open daily from 9am - 2pm.

That’s a wrap on our go-to local spots to grab a cocktail! Please remember to drink responsibly and to keep your safety and the safety of our community in mind as you enjoy a night on the town.
